Future Healthcare Asia 2026 highlights AI, precision medicine, and proactive strategies shaping Malaysia’s resilient and future-ready healthcare system.
The Future Healthcare Asia 2026, held on 14–15 April at the Royal Signature Hotel, gathered healthcare leaders, policymakers, and innovators to explore a proactive vision for the future of healthcare in Asia. Centered on future preparedness, the event highlighted the importance of anticipating challenges before crises arise.

Key discussions focused on climate-health resilience, including floods, haze, and vector-borne diseases, alongside the urgent threat of antimicrobial resistance. Speakers also addressed the impact of ageing populations and rare diseases, as well as the rapid rise of digital disruption—particularly in AI, data security, and system interoperability.

A major highlight was the MyGenom Roadmap, advancing precision medicine in Malaysia by expanding genomic data from 2,400 sequences toward nationwide personalised care by 2041.

The conference also showcased research excellence through IMR and CRM, while industry players like FPT demonstrated intelligent digital health solutions, bridging policy and practice for a smarter, more connected healthcare ecosystem.
